Cake Smash Packages

The “Smash Cake” session is the perfect alternative to the traditional clown which your child will likely never remember. There’s nothing more joyous than watching your little one meet a giant colorful cake for them to tackle on their own. Just imagine this experience for you as a parent watching. This session captures the exciting moments of your child exploring taste, texture and color.

How to prepare:
For the best results, this session is best done at your home or in the studio. The first few photos are taken along with the parents while the child gets used to the camera and setting. During this time you can dress your child in nice clothes which can be changed once the cake comes out (after about 10 minutes). Once the child discovers the cake it’s time to taste, play, crush and smear for some of the tastiest photos you’ll see.

The cake, set, and clothing:
To match the occasion, the set should be colorful and happy which can be done by integrating colorful backgrounds and toys. For the final result to be fun and joyous it’s recommended to dress your child in cute clothes that will stand out – lace, hair accessories and bows for girls, and “big boy” jeans and tie for boys.
